Several people have asked me about the fruit detox that I did with my friend Charla. I did the "diet" for 6 days, she is currently still on it. Before I started I was 151lbs and she was 155lbs. I'm currently 139lbs and she is 143lbs.
We were told about this "diet" by a close friend that gave us all the details over the phone. I'm writing them down for you guys so those that want to try it short term and long term can try it. There is a turbo 3 day fruit detox and there is a detox that you can do for up to 12 days straight.
Make sure the fruit is FRESH (organic is better)
Fruits should not be preserved, dried, canned or frozen. No Jamba juice, fast fruit smoothies or dried fruit.
3 day fruit detox
Start no later than an hour after you wake up.
Eat as much fruit as you want, instead of bananas because of the build up of potassium.
Eat every 2 hours until 3 hours before your bed time. Once you've established the times that you eat make sure it stays the exact same for the rest of the diet.
Example. If you eat at 8:35am make sure you eat at 12:35pm, 2:35pm, 4:45pm etc
You can also replace of your "meals" at night with Dieter's Green Tea (no sugar and drink it on a empty stomach) the tea will further help flush your body of toxins. When you drink the tea, you may want to make sure you stay close to a restroom
Fruit Detox Diet

The first day of the diet involves drinking a 6-oz. sugar-free protein shake every two hours.
Dinner is a salad made of leafy-green vegetables and topped with lean chicken or fish and a lemon juice/olive oil dressing. avoid adding starchy vegetables, such as potatoes, into the salad.
On the second and third days, etc the protein shakes are replaced with a serving of fresh fruit.
